Independence
Being independent means that;
We do not work for any other service or establishment.
We are as structurally independent as possible from all statutory organisations and service provider agencies (including social services.)
This prevents conflicts of interest from occurring and enables us to remain focused solely on what our service users want, without outside interference.
Within the organisation, our primary focus is to provide Advocacy. This means our service is not compromised or diluted by other projects, which could severely affect our ability to remain purely on our service user’s side.
